KUKHANYA
Kukhanya Ventures works with vulnerable people exposed to low social economic conditions and living in rural communities, where the services are limited. Improving energy access Kukhanya aims to increase the resilience of the communities, especially young and women.
Our participative approach adopted during the presentation assure the inclusion of the beneficiaries in a continuous dialogue, that helps our start up to grow up basing on the community needs. We want to understand the real energy demand of the rural communities to keep on improving our products’ offer and capacity to distribute.
Our approach focuses on the following key components:
Renewable Energy Systems: Implement solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, which are well-suited for rural areas due to their scalability and low maintenance requirements. Solar panels will be installed on community buildings, schools, and health centers to provide a reliable and clean source of electricity.
Community Engagement and Training: Engage local communities in the planning and implementation phases to ensure that the solutions are tailored to their specific needs. Provide training and capacity-building programs to empower locals with the skills necessary to maintain and manage the energy systems, fostering sustainability and local ownership.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track the performance and impact of the energy systems. This will allow us to make data-driven adjustments and ensure that the solutions are effectively meeting the needs of the communities.
